Betinternet use a top frame that consists of two rows with links. One of the rows shows links to help, account and deposit information. The other row links to sports that are covered, such as soccer, golf and tennis. The mainframe is divided in two. On the left, information about sports and events can be found and on the right your betting slip is visible. When you click on a sport, the events in that sport are given to choose from. A list of matches appears when you select one event. You can add the bet you want to your betting slip by clicking of the odds. Improved since our last review (fewer clicks to make bets), aspiring to an 8/10.

To add an event to your betting slip, you need to click on the odds. The betting slip is divided into a single and a multiple slip. All selected events are placed in your singles slip. When it is possible to make a multiple of the selected bets, the options appear (doubles, yankee, heinz,etc.). You must use all selected events for the multiple, so you can't select a bunch of events first and then make smaller multiples (this is a drawback, as it makes the bet procedure longer, and more cumbersome). We'd prefer that you could chose from the pool of bets in your betting slip which ones you want to combine. On the asian handicap bets, there's a minimum of 1.56 EUR. Your winnings are paid immidiately, which is a good thing.

Besides in English, the website is also available in Chinese, Italian, German and Thai. Limited live scores and statistics are offered, although we have been told that a new full live score service will commence in April, with a live ticker update. The help section is well provided for with an in depth FAQ section. You can give them a call, their phones are manned all day, with phone, fax, e-mail details visible at the bottom of the main web pages. Friendly people, not only in the frontline support, but also in the management. Rather thin 9/10, but a head above the rest of the bookies.

Betinternet is of course to many of you previously known as Offshore Betting Ltd. Betinternet is listed on the LSE (London Stock Exchange, and was founded in 1998 on the Isle of Man, where they have been granted a betting office licence. Betinternet is a member of the Interactive Gaming Council, the Independent Betting Arbitration Service and it has a VeriSign Secure Site ID. Betinternet launched their online betting service as late as March 17th 2000. I've never heard about problems with payouts or anything negative at all about this company. Heavyweight company, well worth a 9 rating.

They have excellent odds, slightly above the market average. The odds look to be very stable, which is a sign of an experienced bookmaker. They especially distinguish themselves in a positive manner on odds for the away-playing team. This is interesting for the punter that is looking for upsets or better value over other bookmakers. They do not slash their odds as much as certain competitors (like Centrebet, for instance). This is good from a punter's view, unless you fancy the race for the teaser odds on offer early Monday morning... You'll find steady good odds here, but no big surprises in either positive or negative direction. Very early with their odds, and the odds seems to be set by themselves, not a copy of some other company's odds. Offer singles on all events, of course. They usually take a profit margin of about 11% on the major European leagues(varies a bit by which league in question). Lower margins on other sports. Solid 8/10

Soccer, golf, tennis, cricket, NBA, NHL, rugby, greyhounds, motor racing, darts, boxing, etc. They offer a lot. The standard package and some specific British events such as snooker tournaments can be found here. The major European soccer leagues are covered (with different bettypes for the most popular leagues) and asian handicap is also offered. A couple of nice specials are available too.

Betinternet is a good allround British Global bookmaker with good odds and a large array of international events offered. There are endless betting possibilities (not just 1x2) and some great special bets which represent good value and the betting procedure is easy. The company looks to be reliable. In my opinion they could integrate the betlists better in the entire style of the website to give it a slightly more professional impression. They offer solid service, but could perhaps improve on certain areas. Knowing the management, I know that they listen to the man in the street, and if you send them an email with improvement suggestions, it will be read and considered. The odds they are offering is generally good, not the best in the market, but usually high odds on underdogs. They seem to offer their own odds, not a copy of someone else. Offer singles on all soccer games, which of course is a must these days. Looks very accomplished indeed. Navigation is OK, but could've been better. Easy to open an account.
