Cuba had very good team during WL with Sanchez as coach and it looked like they will have some chances here, but during WL raping has happened and still procces is in progress, but after that scandal Sanchez was sacked, while Cepeda, Uriarte, Calvo, Sosa, Gavilan and Miranda are out for RIO. New coach is Vives, U19 Cuba NT coach. He brought 5 U19 players to NT here. Cepeda, Uriarte are main players of the team, 1st opposite and 1st setter, while others are starters and also important players. On the other side Egypt with Badawy, Moneim, Abdelhay who are levels above Cuba team right now, I would say Cuba kids. Cuba has made 36 unforced errors vs Russia for 4 sets which is just crazy and talking about their unexperience and lacking quality. Egypt clear favourite for me.
